Slanderers Within

In the very same way (as the Sodomites-LD), on the strength of their dreams these ungodly people pollute their own bodies, reject authority and heap abuse on celestial beings. But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” Yet these people slander whatever they do not understand, and the very things they do understand by instinct—as irrational animals do—will destroy them.

‎"their dreams:" sensual delusion. Out of touch with reality. The interlopers who infiltrate the Church defile their own bodies with perversions. They hate the authority of God's Word and slander the character of God. The example of Michael is that he, an archangel, respected the position and title of Satan, an archangel; leaving the judgment of Satan's evil to the ultimate authority, God Himself. The imposters, however, are not afraid to slander and mischaracterize Jesus Christ, the Church, and the Christian Way of Life. They do this in malicious ignorance. They themselves don't understand any of it, of course. They are phonies, trying to fake their way into your confidence, so as to turn your faith into something shallow and unfruitful. We know some of them. Their clubs, fraternities and sororities are more important to them than the Word of God. They will practice paganism in one setting, then come into the worship service and pose as Christians, for whatever gain they expect. They have no concept of spritual discernment. They only know worldly, instictive attitudes and behaviors, and they follow those animal lusts and ambitions to their logical end: destruction. What's my responsibility in this? Learn the truth of the Word of God. Understand God's character and His perfect provision. Know Bible Doctrine, teach it, practice it, NO MATTER WHAT and NO MATTER WHO tries to distort what I know about the perfect person and the finished work of my Lord Jesus Christ.
