But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23
Contrasted with the DEEDS (plural) of the flesh (old sin nature), there is one FRUIT (singular) of the (Holy) Spirit. It is LOVE. Love is characterized by certain attitudes and behaviors. See, these characteristics of love are not things we have to work up. They are the normal production of the Holy Spirit indwelling and filling our lives. They are the evidence that we belong to Jesus Christ. They are the reflection of Him in our daily experience.
