In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us. Ephesians 1:7-8
In Him: Jesus Christ. Redemption: purchased out of the slave market and set free. Blood: our Lord's perfect sacrifice of Himself. Believers are forgiven and lavished with the abundance of God's riches for one reason only: our position IN CHRIST. He is our peace, our security, our confidence, our power. If you have believed in Him, you are IN CHRIST forever. Rejoice!
