Works

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. Ephesians 2:10..who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds. Titus 2:14



Which comes first, the salvation or the works? The salvation, of course! There is no way any human can do any works which will earn us salvation. We are not capable of divine good in our "old man" nature. Indeed, we don't even know what it is. God the Father made the plan, God the Son executed the plan whereby we could become Spirit-filled members of His family; a people who belong to Him, who know human good is no good and delight in showing forth God's love in the devil's world.
