Imitators

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma. Ephesians 5:1-2


Whom we love we grow to resemble. Since the new birth, we bear within ourselves the characteristics of our Lord. As human children take on the habits and traits of human parents, sons of God learn His ways, growing in grace day by day. It shows in our willingness to love and forgive our brethren as we walk together before the Lord. He notices the sweet fragrance of the gracious life. That pleases Him.
