Worthy

With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith. We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12

When Jesus comes He will be glorified in His saints. That's us believers. It won't be by our own human energy, brethren. God makes us worthy to glorify Him. He is omnipotent. All the power of the universe is in Him, and He uses that power to produce in us the kind of goodness that accurately represents Himself. We who love God do desire goodness. We have a standard of Perfect Righteousness we see in God Himself. Since We cannot accomplish that standard, He gives us His Own; we appropriate His Righteousness by our faith in His perfect provision. Jesus' atonement for all our sins made this possible. That's why His name is eternally glorified in us and by us and through us. And He honors us because we belong to Him. It's a family thing. Faith is what we know. We know He is Perfect Righteousness, and that He has imputed that Righteousness to us, who believe in the finished work of Christ on the cross. We also know that when He returns, it will be to redeem His own and to discard all that is contrary to His will. We know this because He has told us so, and what He has said, that He will do.
